Overview
MSP Outage Tracker (formerly MSP Outage Tracker) brings major service disruptions into one searchable view: Internet, TV and mobile carriers, streaming, music and social platforms, business apps, Cloudflare, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Google Cloud, AWS, and local power utilities.
Each outage shows when it started (Central time), which services and areas are affected, how many people are impacted, its likely cause and how it was resolved. Outages near you or your sites are flagged as local, and unconfirmed reports appear as Emerging until a provider or a second independent source confirms them.
Features
- Active and past outages — kept and searchable for up to a year, with type filters (Internet, Mobile, TV, Cloud, Business apps, Utility providers and more).
- Emerging outages with a 1–10 score and a "Triggered by" summary, plus "I'm affected / Working for me" confirmations.
- Nation-Level Outages — Internet disruptions across countries and major networks.
- Your power company — live customers-out numbers for supported Texas utilities and co-ops, with outage-map links.
- Alert tones and spoken alerts — choose a tone and voice per alert type; quiet hours respected.
- Providers to watch — pick the internet, mobile, TV, streaming, social and business services you care about.
- Push-first and battery-aware — alerts by push, low data use, driving mode.
- Update notices — the app tells you when a newer version is available and downloads it.
- Request an account from the sign-in screen (an administrator approves it). Admin and Managed Services Tech roles add managed-client views and a live outage globe.
Screenshots
Screenshots will be published with the public store release.
Requirements
- Android 7.0 (API 24) or later, or any modern web browser
- Internet connection
- An MSP Outage Tracker account (request one in the app; an administrator approves it)

Privacy Policy
Standalone page ↗︎This Privacy Policy explains how One Source Datacom, LLC ("One Source Datacom", "we", "us") handles information in MSP Outage Tracker (the "App"). It applies to the App on every platform we publish it on, including Google Play, the Apple App Store and the Microsoft Store where available.
Information we collect
- Account information — name, email address, a securely hashed password and your role.
- Location (optional) — if you turn on "Watch my area", your phone's approximate area (and, if you allow it, a Wi-Fi/cell-based precise location for your ZIP code) to flag nearby outages. Never a street address.
- Watched sites — the site names and addresses you or your administrator add, used to tag local disruptions.
- Preferences — which outages you archive and your notification settings.
- Device notification token — to deliver alerts.
- Technical logs — server logs (IP address, timestamps, errors) for security and troubleshooting.
Outage information itself comes from public status pages, carrier reports and news sources, not from your device.
How we use information
- To provide and operate the App's features.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and troubleshoot problems.
- To respond to support requests you send us.
We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising, or share it with data brokers.

We share information only with service providers that host or operate the App's infrastructure on our behalf under confidentiality obligations, when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users and systems.
Security
All data sent between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit with TLS. Servers are hardened, patched automatically, monitored, and protected against brute-force login attempts.
Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active. Outage records are kept for up to one year. Server logs are kept up to 90 days.
Your choices and rights
You can access, correct or delete your information at any time — see Account & Data Deletion. Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights; contact us to exercise them.
