OSD Weather Watch

OSD Weather Watch keeps an eye on the sky for you. It monitors showers, thunderstorms and severe weather around your home, your phone's current location and the sites you care about, and alerts you before weather arrives — not after.

Built by One Source Datacom's managed-services team to protect client sites across South Texas, it cross-checks multiple data sources (NWS alerts, radar, hail and wind reports) so alerts are fast and trustworthy.

• Early alerts with an ETA — estimated impact time, direction of travel, speed and impact type (rain, hail, damaging wind, tornado).
• Spoken alerts — hear the warning even when your phone is in your pocket.
• Follows you — optionally watches your phone's current location in addition to saved sites.
• Watch list of sites — homes, offices and client locations, each with its own status card.
• Map and Severe tabs — live radar map and severe-weather view from the Weather Watch service.
• 15-minute updates when severe weather is within 15 miles.
• Weather reports — submit what you're seeing (photo optional) to improve future alerts.
• Light, dark and Glass looks.
• Secure back end — password-protected, encrypted with TLS, hosted by One Source Datacom.

This Privacy Policy explains how One Source Datacom, LLC ("One Source Datacom", "we", "us") handles information in OSD Weather Watch (the "App"). It applies to the App on every platform we publish it on, including Google Play, the Apple App Store and the Microsoft Store where available.

Information we collect

• Account information — name, email address and a securely hashed password, used to sign in.
• Location — saved site addresses you enter and, if you enable it, your device's precise location, used only to check weather near you. Location history is not sold or shared.
• Weather reports you submit — description, time, location and an optional photo.
• Device notification token — so we can deliver alerts to your device.
• Technical logs — server logs (IP address, timestamps, errors) kept for security and troubleshooting.

How we use information

• To provide and operate the App's features.
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and troubleshoot problems.
• To respond to support requests you send us.

We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising, or share it with data brokers.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers that host or operate the App's infrastructure on our behalf under confidentiality obligations, when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users and systems.

Security

All data sent between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit with TLS. Servers are hardened, patched automatically, monitored, and protected against brute-force login attempts.

Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active. Precise-location readings are used for live checks and kept no longer than 30 days. Weather reports are kept to improve forecasting unless you ask us to delete them. Server logs are kept up to 90 days.

Your choices and rights

You can access, correct or delete your information at any time — see Account & Data Deletion. Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights; contact us to exercise them.

Children

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date above.

You can delete your OSD Weather Watch account and the data associated with it at any time.

Option 1 — In the app

Open Settings → Account → Delete account and confirm. (If your version doesn't show this option yet, use Option 2.)

Option 2 — By email

1. Email info@onesourcedatacom.net from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my OSD Weather Watch account".
2. We will confirm the request and verify that you own the account.
3. Your account is deleted within 30 days and you will receive a confirmation email.

What is deleted

Your profile (name, email, login credentials), saved locations and settings, notification tokens, and content you submitted.

What may be kept

Encrypted backups are overwritten within 30 days. We keep only records we are legally required to retain (for example security logs for up to 90 days), after which they are deleted.

Delete some data without deleting your account

Email us and tell us which data you want removed (for example a specific report or photo) and we will delete it within 30 days.

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") are an agreement between you and One Source Datacom, LLC for your use of OSD Weather Watch. By installing or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you obtained the App from the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and the rules of the store you downloaded it from.

Acceptable use

• Don't misuse the App, attempt to access systems or data you are not authorized to access, or interfere with its operation.
• Don't reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the App except as allowed by law.
• Don't submit unlawful, misleading or harmful content.

Information disclaimer

The App provides information to help you stay aware; it is not a guaranteed or official source. Always follow official guidance and emergency services. Do not rely on the App as your only source of critical information.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, One Source Datacom, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
